National Sloppy Joe Day was Monday 3/18/24
When you think of a simple and delicious meal that needs some elevation - a sloppy joe fits the bill. This dish is a very cost effective option for the busy working family. There are also many variations for this dish from nachos, to sliders to a philly hoagie bun. One final step that really elevates this entree is to use lamb instead of ground beef. The milder, subtle, nuttier flavor is something that pairs well with tomato, dijon onion and garlic.
